Buhay OFW sa KL

It's my turn to wait for somebody come out of the airport. It was so filled with excitement and joy to think that the much awaited time has come. My dreams became a reality...unlike these days when lots of low cost carriers has come out and the theme 'everyone can fly' has become so popular, it was so hard those days to bring one's family here to KL. We had to think about lots of consequences so it was a hard decision. Anyway, this was the day that I will fetch my wife and kid from the airport. When my son first saw me, he couldn't hide the joy in his face. He was trying hard not to smile as I carried him up in my arms. I can still recall the funny face that he made to me just to confuse me of his real feelings and hide the happiness. For my wife, it was true joy thinking that we will stay together for good and not just one or two weeks vacation. So this is the start of my family life in KL, we really started here with no friends...just the three of us most of the time. Showed them places like Genting, KL Tower, Sunway, IOI Mall, Sungei Wang. Times Square, KLCC and Midvalley were not yet in the list of destinations that time. Our regular and favorite place was of course St. John Cathedral during Sunday mornings. Bringing my family closer to our Lord is my way of saying thanks for all the blessings that we have received...
